Clothing’s future: Moving Towards a Circular Fashion

Updated: Oct 22

As sustainability becomes a key focus, circularity, the process of maintaining a garment's value through multiple lives, is gaining focus. Designing for a circular future and preventing fabric going to landfill will be key to staying relevant with sustainability.

What is Circular Fashion?

A circular fashion industry is defined as a regenerative system in which garments are circulated for as long as their maximum value is retained with no significant waste, products are designed and developed with environmental-friendly resources and the next use in mind. It can be easily explained taking a look at the circular fashion wheel.

Single brand closed loop recycling

Upcycle and resale are important elements of circular fashion, but a more challenging task is material recycling. Consider the waste generated on the cutting room floor, we are finding the way of fiber recycling. Start up from collecting wastage to recycled fiber, yarn spinning to the sustainable fabric, a single brand closed loop recycling is created and we are looking forward to welcome the birth of the new eco product.
