Aged and worn-in
Aged authentic vintage workwear achieves dusty coloured bases and worn-in effects.
Fibre and yarn: source BCI-, GOTS-certified organic and GRS/RCS recycled cotton and hemp. Turkey's Dynamo mixes 72% cotton, 26% RCS-certified recycled cotton and 2% elastane.
Colour and finish: achieve low-impact laundered effects with green casts, over-dyeing and combining indigo with brown weft. Turkey based Denim Privé blends 18% hemp with cotton and finishes with a stoneless stone wash, resulting in water and energy savings.
Futuristic reds
Give denim a digital feel in rich reds and purples, taking on elements of our Supernatural Glow theme.
Fibre and yarn: opt for BCI, organic and GRS/RCS recycled cotton, with an option to blend with GRS/RCS recycled polyester.
Colour and finish: use hues of reds and purples to achieve a rust and Midnight Plum look. Combine indigo with a red weft to achieve two-tone bases. Leather-like coatings are seen at India's Arvind and provide protection from winter weather.
Mid-tone softness
Building on Lounging Comfort themes from last season, Tencel and spandex-free polyester stretch T400 fibres continue to give bases drape, ease and softness.
Fibre and yarn: blend combinations of Tencel, EcoVero, T400 and GOTS-certified or BCI cotton.
Colour and finish: classic mid-blue, washed-down tones give an authentic look.
Graphic stripes
High-contrast stripes are a staple throughout seasons, feeding into classic authentic vintage workwear looks.
Fibre and yarn: opt for fibres of certified BCI, GOTS organic and GRS/RCS recycled cotton, blending with FSC-certified Tencel or GRS-certified polyester for lightness and softness.
Colour and finish: keep classic undyed and indigo bases high contrast. Kassim Denim uses an electrochemical process SMART indigo to produce its pre-reduced liquid indigo dyes.
